Hi I'm Jack Nicholson

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Kansas City. My parents were moral, ethical people but not religious. I joined the Church in 2007.

About Me

I was raised in a family that was moral and ethical but not religious. I was fortunate to spend summers on my uncle's ranch where I learned many things and many skills that have helped me in life. I served as an Officer in the US Army in the Vietnam war and graduated from Arizona State University after my discharge. I spent my working career with a major computer manufacturer and retired a few years ago. I now work part time as a Personal Trainer and I love it. I enjoy working with people and helping them incorporate fitness into their lives. I always knew that something was missing in my life and I had many questions that I could not answer. I discovered what it was when I was introduced to the Church by a friend. I was baptized in February 2007 at the young age of 60. I am proof that it is never too late to learn about the blessings of the Church. I now have a sense of purpose, direction, and understanding of my life that I never had before. I now know where I came from, why I am here, and where I am going. I encourage you to talk to a Missionary. It may change your life as it did mine.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is the way I want to live my life. I know that if we keep the commandments and covenants that we have made the Lord will bless our lives and the we will return to live with Him in heaven.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by regular attendance at Church, Church activities, and the Temple. I live by the commandments and covenants that I have made. I like our motto of CTR which stands for Choose the Right and use it when making many decisions. I enjoy volunteer work and do it often. When you are in service of others you are in service of the Lord.
