Hi I'm jessica

I'm married with 2 little girls. work part time for a contractor. I enjoy weight lifting, eating and being outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My mother and father are both converts to the church both being catholic before being baptized. I grew up in the church and am the oldest of 5 children. i am married to a a Marine/Police officer who is himself a convert. we have two gorgeous girls 1 & 3 years old. I work part time for a Contractors Company in the admin department. I try to stay as active busy as often as i can. I love to do anything outdoors, i enjoy crafting and signing. having playmates with friends and their children. I love to travel and watching movies. I like to read but almost never have time or can get through a page before one of my girls want me for something. My husband and I enjoy working out together and both hope to compete in wight lifting competitions this next year just to say we did it.

Why I am a Mormon

I strongly believe in families and being together forever. Ive had several trials thought my short time on this earth that have reenforced my beliefs. The power of our men who hold the power of keys of the priesthood. how they are able to heal us, give us comfort, and guides that comes directly from God. I know Jesus will walk the earth again and we will be able to reunited with our heavenly father and loved ones.

How I live my faith

I have always been active in church whether it be by volunteering, giving service to those in need, taking meals to families who have welcomed a baby into this world or are having hardships. I've participated in callings in nearly all the ages of primary and in the nursery i've also been a activity days leader for the girls of the age of 8-9 year olds and becoming wonderful friends and a role model to them. I love visiting teaching, it gives me time to stop whatever is going on and take a treat, share a thought, and visit with the women i teach and go to church with. I have been incharge of organizing our wards play groups for two years now and love being able to spending time with the mothers and fathers and knowing our children are be watched and taught by the other parents the same teachings i give to my girls.

What is the Church’s position on abortion?

From the moment a woman becomes pregnant she is carrying a precious gift from god. GOd has entrusted us to provide and protect these special spirits. Of sours not all pregnancies are planned but he will always provide and makes all things possible. When it comes to abortion these children yet to have a voice to be able to defend themselves each and everyone should be given the same opportunity to come into this world as you and i were given. abortion to me is just another word for murder. Can you tell me about Mormon customs: how you dress for church, what holidays you celebrate, etc.?

We dress in our sunday best this means women wear skirts and dresses that are modest. the men wear a button down shirt with slacks and ties. We shouldn't wear pants/jeans or t shirts or sneakers or sandal we should wear dress shoes. we Should all have our hair combed and and be groomed. This does not mean this is a fashion show or to compete or judge who is wearing what if the outfit is outdates all long as you dress you best. we celebrate all major holidays. we do however reserve sunday as a day as solely to worship god and spend the day as a family and not out shopping or participating in worldly activities.
