Hi I'm Pedro

I'm a husband, father of 2 soon to be 3, IS Technician for my local County Election Department, mountain biker, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Portugal and moved to California when I was nine. I met my amazing wife after I returned from serving a full time mission in New Jersey. I have three awesome children who keep me on my toes. I'm a bit of a bike nut and spend much of my time riding bikes around the block with my kids, or out enjoying my local trails on a mountain bike.

Why I am a Mormon

Thanks to the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints I know God lives. The Christian principles that I was taught as a young man challenged me to develop a relationship with my Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ. I know the gospel is true because of the feelings of calm, peace, and clarity that I have felt as I have turned to the Lord for answers. I know that this direction in life can be had by all if they turn to Heavenly Father through prayer in search for answers. I know that he will answer you, you just have to seek him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the best I can. As our testimony of Christ grows we want to follow him and we want to follow his commandments. I try to live my life in a way that falls in accordance with the principles Jesus Christ taught. I have found that as I search the scriptures and remember to pray daily, I'm strengthened in living my faith. I'm also grateful for opportunities provided by our church to serve others. Whether it is teaching a Sunday school lesson or cleaning up the building after an activity, these experiences have blessed my life in many ways. The Lords servant King Benjamin taught; "Behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God." (Mosiah 2:17)
