Hi I'm John

I was born in South Korea, I grew up in the United States, and I currently live in Australia. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently a 20-year old missionary serving in the Australia Sydney North Mission. Long before I entered into the mission field, I was born in Seoul, South Korea. After living in Korea for 8 years, I was baptized, and then my family moved to the United States. I have lived a great portion of my life growing up in Phoenix, and later became a naturalized U.S. Citizen at the age of 17. After graduating high school, I studied for one year at BYU. While studying in the university, I applied to serve on a 2 year mission for my church. I was assigned to labor in the Korean speaking Australia Sydney North mission. Here I am now in Australia, inviting all to come unto Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a firm testimony that the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored on earth. I know that Joseph Smith was called to be a prophet by God and was given the Priesthood authority to restore the church that Jesus Christ established. The restored gospel head given me so much joy in my life. I have witnessed so many blessings throughout my life. I am grateful to know that through the Atonement, we can return to live with God and our loving families. I know that by living the gospel each day we can be closer to our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

Faith means to have a strong belief that causes us to act. I have faith that Jesus Christ atoned for our sins. How grateful I am to know that I can live with my family forever in the presence of our Heavenly Father. I know that Christ would want me to help others increase their faith in Him, and that is what I am doing today. I am a full time missionary, inviting everyone to exercise their faith in Christ.
