Hi I'm Roger

My family joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints several years ago. This has been wonderful decision. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I have been married for about 44 years. We have 5 children, 4 daughters and 1 son. We have 15 grandchildren. I retired from my job and my wife and I served a mission for the Church in Canada in 2011 and now are serving our second mission in Lyon France.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for a solid and simple reason: I have studied the Church in depth and pondered about the message. Finally, I prayed sincerely to know directly from the source, our Heavenly Father, and I have received a confirmation that this is the Savior's Church.

How I live my faith

I have had many experiences in the Church all of them very positive. I have always been impressed that no one receives pay for what they do and so I have tried to serve my best in each calling. I have served as a youth leader in Boy Scouts of America, I have taught many classes, I served a mission as a young man in France and Switzerland, served with my wife in Montreal, Canada in 2011, and am now serving a second time with her in Lyon, France. I also had the opportunity to serve as a Bishop. A Bishop has the responsibility for the members of the Church in a local geographic area. I learned to love the members of the Ward because I served them. This to me is a true key to happiness that we are happiest when we serve others. I, like most Mormons, try to be an example of a follower of the Savior Jesus Christ.
