Hi I'm Tracie

I'm a Mormon. Along with my family, the Gospel of Jesus Christ is my greatest blessing in this life!

About Me

I have temple marriage to a wonderful husband. I am blessed to be a mother of 4. I love being a mom! I enjoy teaching my children, helping in their schools, and playing and having fun with them. Some of my hobbies are quilting, reading, and running. I am a goal setter. I love giving myself a challenge and working hard to complete it. I have run many races, including 2 half marathons and 2 full marathons. I love staying healthy and learning more about how I can keep my body healthy and strong. I believe my body is special and is a gift from my Heavenly Father! Along with all this, I am a daughter of God.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of my strong and courageous mother! When I was little the missionaries came to my home and my mother answered the door and let them in. How grateful I am for her strength to choose to join the church and raise her daughters in it. I grew up going to church every Sunday and because of her example have gained my own testimony of the truthfulness of the Gospel. I continue to follow the gospel of Jesus Christ today and teach my children about it because I know it's true. I have a testimony that it is the gospel of Jesus Christ restored to the earth in these latter days. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that with the help of Heavenly Father he translated the Book of Mormon. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God and I read from its pages every day. I know that Thomas S. Monson is our prophet today, that he leads and guides the church under the direction of Jesus Christ. I know that families can be together forever through the sealing power of the Temple and that I will be together with my family for eternity. I know my Savior lives, that He died for me, and that He loves me. This testimony I leave in His name, Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day by being a mother. I know that my children are watching me very closely and so I strive daily to be an example to them of what the Savior would do. I try to have teaching moments with them when ever I can about this Gospel and about what I know Heavenly Father would want them to know. On Sunday's I serve in the Young Woman's organization with young women ages 12-18. I have the opportunity to teach them gospel lessons on Sundays and then each and every Wednesday we gather together for youth group activities. We have a lot of fun together and I am so thankful to be able to serve them and observe the amazing strength they have to choose the right in these difficult times.
