Hi I'm Marc

I am an Aerospace Supplier Quality Engineer. I love traveling, sports, and life.

About Me

I really love traveling and cultures. I have lived in three different countries and four different US states in the past 9 years. I enjoy playing sports for city teams including basketball, football and softball. I have four brothers and one sister spread across many different locations. My parents are great examples and very supportive of all of us but confusing; they love that we experience the world but always complain that we don't live close to them. I mentee two boys in the Antelope Valley and we often study together, make food, and play around. I use my free time to relax on the beach, study for graduate school admissions test or watch Sportscenter.

Why I am a Mormon

I have learned and grown a lot over the years from experiences and people, but the one aspect of my life that shapes who I am is Jesus Christ. I first realized how precious life was when one of my best high school friends passed away. I came to understand the peace and power that comes through Jesus Christ as I sought him. I have gone through good times and bad times alike but one things remains constant, the principles of Christ's gospel have lifted me, molded me, and helped me become a better person. I know who I am and what I am doing here on earth, that gives me great confidence and peace. I know that God loves his children and that he continues to guide his church on the earth. I know that it is through Christ that my desires have changed and my love for my fellow man has increased.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my every day actions and thoughts. I have come to realize the importance of having Christ in the forefront of my thoughts and deeds in these times where many things are searching for my attention. I always start out my day with a reflective period when I often read scriptures and concentrate on how I am improving my Christlike attributes. I live my faith at work through my actions and performance, continually striving to do what is right with a positive optimistic attitude. My thoughts have often helped create uplifting conversations. Outside of work I attend church for three hours every Sunday, but the day is a day of rest and worship for me. I am often asked to participate on sports teams on Sunday but decline as I explain that this is my day of worship. I volunteer in the congregation that I attend as the Sunday School President, the second hour of our Sunday service, where I organize and help direct the instructors and material being taught. I live my faith by loving my fellow man in many ways, through service activities and helping out with the homeless, but also I home teach a handful of families in the congregation that need strengthening. I live my faith by striving to keep my thoughts in line with my Savior and his gospel, this shapes my actions and characteristics.
