Hi I'm Krystal

I grew up in Utah as the eldest of 7 daughters. I live and work in Colorado. I'm a wife and a mother to 3 sons. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've worked in the Telecommunications industry for 22 years. Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, reading, working on project around the house and spending time with friends and family. I have three sons and two grandsons who all live out of state. I love to spend time with them when I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel blessed to have grown up in the Mormon faith. As a young child, I was taught basic gospel principles. Then as I got older, I came to know for myself that God lives and that Jesus Christ is our Savior. I know that I lived with God in a pre-mortal existance and that he has a plan for all of mankind. Each of us has a different life story, but I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for each of our lives. God's plan is designed for us to come to this earth and to have experiences that will test and prove us and help us learn all that we need to learn to be able to come back into his presence and live with him eternally. I know that God lives because he hears and answers my prayers.

How I live my faith

Our church has unpaid clergy and so it gives us many opportunities to serve others, while also learning new skills and developing our own talents. I enjoy serving members of my congregation in church callings. I have had opportunities to work with the youth, serve in leadership capacities, organize community events, give talks and teach lessons. Currently, I serve as an Employment Specialist, helping people who are unemployed or under-employed find work. I find this work to be very rewarding as I help people find employment in these tough economic times. In addition to this, I serve as a visiting teacher to two younger women. This gives me the opportunity to visit each woman in her home, to check in on how she and her family are doing, and get to know her on an individual level. My husband currently serves as a Bishop over a congregation, which makes me the Bishops wife, and we both enjoy serving others in the church.
