Hi I'm Hayden

I'm a golfer, I'm a ping pong master, I enjoy a nice pair of slacks. I go big or go home and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in the great town of Spanish Fork, Utah or as most people know it "Spanish Fark." I am currently serving in the Oakland/ San Francisco Mission. I love to golf, play ping pong, basketball.. I enjoy all kinds of sports, pretty much anything that has to do with being outdoors. I'm pretty big into music, anything from country to rap and everything in between! Especially Mormon Tabernacle choir! When a nice soothing beat hits my ear I'm all for it! I think I would consider myself to be a pretty laid back person, sit back and have a good time. I'd say my life is legit, I love trying new things and open to new ideas. I like to keep things interesting.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church I have been going my whole life. In my younger years and all through high school I would consider myself to be active in the church, less active in the gospel. I knew that church was a good place to be, but after Sunday was over, so was living the gospel. Through my first year at college that thought process started to change. Which created a desire inside myself to change. I began to read my scriptures and pray more often, as I did this I noticed a huge change. That change in my life put me where I'm at now, which is on a mission. Helping others make that same change in their lives by teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. I knew that this church was true all along, but didn't recognize it until I started to read and pray. We have the fullness of the everlasting gospel, this is the one and only true church. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I cannot deny it!

How I live my faith

Since I've started my mission I learned how to love teaching people the gospel of Jesus Christ. Seeing the joy in there lives as they accept it, is an amazing opportunity. Serving others and helping people understand how they can come closer to there Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ is one way I live my faith. Being on a mission and constantly learning more and more about the gospel is amazing! Everyday I learn something new, a new way to serve, a new way to teach, and a new way to help. Teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ for the next 2 years is just the beginning of living my faith. Living the gospel standards is a continuous process. It's an everyday thing for me. Thats why Christ has told us to endure to the end. This life isn't easy, he knew it would be difficult for us and that trials would enter into our lives. That's why hes given us the gospel to live by. As we live it, and apply his teachings we are proving ourselves worthy enough to enter into his kingdom. As a servant of the Lord I'm sharing the gospel with Gods children everyday for the next 2 years and I will continue to share it for the rest of my life and all eternity.
