Hi I'm Alyson

I like to eat food. all food. And I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a working graduate student

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that this Church is true. The spiritual feelings and enlightenment I receive while actively searching, pondering, or living the teachings of the scriptures constantly testify and confirm that those initial feelings of belief, faith, and hope I received are true. I am a Mormon because I believe it is right, and more importantly, it is the right belief and lifestyle for me.

How I live my faith

I actively go to whichever ward or branch I live in. While I like the personal aspect of faith- of spiritually strengthening myself by strengthening my own connection with God, I know from experience that the more active I am in my ward or branch, the more I learn how to serve others, the more I become connected to those that I serve with or by, the more my concern for their welfare and happiness grows, and the better my own understanding of God-like attributes becomes. The strengthening of my own beliefs or testimony could not improve without the communal experiences I have with of others that are trying to become better people as well.
