Hi I'm Todd

I am a father, husband, dentist, waterski enthusiast. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My parents are from Germany, and immigrated to America. The carved out of this land a wonderful life for me and my five sisters. I grew up in a loving home where we learned to pray and worship Jesus Christ. My mother and father talk of their great love for the United States and their gratitude for their freedom. I was blessed to attend College and recieved a degree in Human Biology and then obtained my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. I enjoy my work and I enjoy even more the times when family can spend time together. The best part of my life is my wife and four children. Being a father is more wonderful than words can describe and I love every second of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

My Great Grandparents were converted in Germany. They had great faith to follow Christ in those days when the followers of Christ were persecuted. My parents came to this land to be free and raise their family in a Christian land. I myself grew up in the LDS church. However, my parents always taught me that I would have to obtain my own tesitmony by praying to God in the name of Christ, and ask if the teachings of the LDS church were true. My faith grew because I realized that the teachings of the LDS church made me happy. I realized that my faith in Christ grew when I read the Book of Mormon. I realized that it made sense to me that if God called Prophets in ancient days, then why not now. I now realize that all along the Holy Ghost who teaches the "truth of all things" was teaching me that the Book of Mormon is really scripture written by ancient Christian prophets. In addition I realize that not only does it make sense to me that God would call Prophets, but that I truly believe that God and Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith. I believe, and even feel like I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet just like Moses and Peter in the Bible. I believe that today God speaks to men on Earth whom I believe to have the same authority as Peter in the New Testament. My reason for being a Mormon or rather a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is becasue I believe it has the answers I could not find anywhere else. I am grateful for my faith and I feel happy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to act in private how I would act in public. I am faithful to my wife, I do not watch inappropriate media. I continually try to improve my life and eliminate my imperfections. I love my children and consider it a sacred responsibility to raise these beautiful children. The Gospel of Jesus Christ causes a man to live righteously even when no one is watching. I really try to do this. I also try to show love to my fellow men. I try to be generous to those in need and serve when I can. My faith inspires me to try to live so that I please my Heavenly Father and our Saviour Jesus Christ.
