Hi I'm Rick

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to beautiful women, Charlotte, and I have three wonderful children. I am a heavy equipment operator for a municipality, I drive a front loader for a living…it’s like getting to drive a big Tonka truck. Some of my hobbies include golfing, fishing, hunting, but my favorite thing to do is spend time with my family. At Church I have been asked to be the Financial Clerk. I’m a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because at no other time in my life have I ever felt the closeness of our Savior, like I do now. I became a member after being introduced to the Church by my wife and Father in Law. I was baptized when I was 37 years old, after investigating the Church on and off for 7 years. I decided to join the church after the spirit testified to me that family’s can be together forever. I want what I have now to last for eternity. I believe Joseph Smith is a true prophet of the Lord. I do not worship Joseph Smith, but revere him as a prophet. I worship Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Through the Atonement we can repent and be saved. I also believe that Thomas S. Monson is a living prophet on the earth today. I invite anyone who reads this and has a question, to stop the two young men wearing suits and riding bicycles and ask your questions. These young men our missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by keeping the promises I made with Heavenly Father, following the commandments, and being a worthy priesthood holder. I live the values of the Church. I attend Church every Sunday and pay my tithing. I enjoy helping others through service work. I ensure that my family does a service project every month. This helps us increase our faith in Jesus Christ and it brings our family closer together.
