Hi I'm David

I grew up in Los Angeles. I'm married and have four children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a dad. I have a regular office job. I try to help my kids with their homework, and keep up with the yard work. I enjoy watching sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love understanding where we came from, why we are here on earth, and what will happen to us in the next life. The teachings of Jesus can bring peace in this life when we live them. I know the Church of Jesus Christ was restored to the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith, and that the Church is lead by a prophet today. I'm a Mormon because I've prayed about the Church and its teachings, and the Holy Ghost has testified to me that it is true.

How I live my faith

I currently work with young men ages 14 to 16. We try to help the young men grow spiritually as they grow physically. We also teach them leadership skills, and service to others. I personally try to live my faith by emulating Christlike characteristics in my own family, and in my occupation.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

David
