Hi I'm Meg

I'm a southerner. I'm a a wife and mom. I'm a personal trainer. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in the dirty south to a squeaky clean Mormon family. I currently live in Utah with my hubby and baby girl. A little about me: I love exercise, cook, and watch movies. I also love hanging out with my family, music, traveling and reading. My dream is to start a nonprofit organization, and to change the world! Currently I own my own personal training company, ShortysFitness Co., and I project manage at a leading digital media consultancy.

Why I am a Mormon

I worked really hard to know for myself that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is truly the restored gospel that Christ established when he was on the earth. After studying the Bible, I read, pondered and prayed to know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. And God gave me a clear answer! I've never found more happiness in my life than through living the gospel. I have confidence in myself and in God because I understand my purpose in life, where I came from, and where I'm going. I can see His hand in my life. I know that God loves all His children and that His gospel is on this earth again under the direction of a living prophet. Everything in the gospel just makes sense. And I'm so grateful that I found it!

How I live my faith

Through small and simple means, great things come to pass. I served as a missionary for the greatest mission in the world, the Pennsylvania, Philadelphia Mission. Talk about greatest time of my life! I loved serving the Lord and had a blast doing it! I look at all God has given me - and 18 months doesn't seem like enough service. Since I've been home, it's been my goal to always live as a disciple of Christ. I try to live my faith by the person I am and always strive to become more like my Savior Jesus Christ.
