Hi I'm Jake

I love my family and friends. I love sports. I love to sing. I love life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Jake. I am currently a college student. I lived the first 19 years of my life in the wonderful town of Kaysville Utah. I am the youngest of six children and have 2 older brothers and 3 older sisters to look up to. I have 5 wonderful brother and sister in-laws, and 20 nieces and nephews. I love spending time with my family. I was born into a Mormon family and have gone to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints my whole life. I grew up loving sports, and I love to play basketball any chance I get. I love to sing. I have sung in choirs since High School and enjoy to sing solo's when given the opportunity. Music has played a huge part in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was 8 years old, and since then have grown a love for the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ was restored to the earth by a prophet, just like in times of old. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has brought me more joy than anything else in this life because it has given me the opportunity to come to know my savior. I know that Christ lives, and that he died for me. My knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ means the world to me and my family. It has brought and kept my family close together, and has given me something to rely on in times of trial and hardship. I know I can live with my loved ones forever, and I'm so grateful for that knowledge. I know that no matter where I am in life, my Father in Heaven is there watching over me. He always knows what I'm going through, and is waiting for me to turn to him for help. Because of this knowledge, I will never fear.

How I live my faith

I love to serve my fellow man. I went on a humanitarian expedition to Peru to serve some of my brothers and sisters there, it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I also served the lord for two years as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I love to teach the gospel and am always looking for opportunities to share the knowledge that I have of my savior Jesus Christ.
