Hi I'm Hunter

I'm from Idaho, I'm a future veterinarian, I have a gnarly farmers tan, and I'm a Mormon with a Mormon.org profile

About Me

Idaho has its fair share of small towns, and I grew up in one of them. I lived in Boise for the last two years of high school so I got to experience "city life" if Boise can be considered a city compared to the cities I see out here in Florida. I am 20 years old and the youngest with three Brothers and two sisters, four neices and three nephews, two great-neices. I am currently serving a mission in ft. lauderdale, Florida and loving every moment I get to share the gospel with people, I wouldn't trade this time for the world. When I am done with my mission I want to go to college for veterinary medicine so one day I can own my own clinic. I'm also thinking about owning my own bowling ally. . . we'll see how that dream works out. I graduated High school and interned with a veterinarian for about 6 months and had so much fun with it! it really strenghtend my desire to achieve my life long goal of becoming a veterinarian. I enjoy; hiking, rock climbing, camping, bowling, soccer, white-water rafting, bon-fires, riding dirt bikes, four-Wheelers, and motorcycles. (there is a difference between a motorcycle and a dirt bike) I would like to try; sky diving, base jumping, bunjii jumping, hang gliding, and any other extream sport that I think would be fun

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member all of my life but I hit a time in my life where I wasn't exactly doing the things I needed to be doing, at one point I had a wake up call that showed me where my life was headed, that is when I had to know if this was really the Lords church. In The Book of Mormon a prophet named Alma says to "plant the seed" to see if it is good and tells how to recognize if it is good, so I did, I strived to stay active in the church and to follow Gods commandments to see if it was what I needed in my life. I read the scriptures and prayed, attended church, and I soon began to see that the "seed" was good, that this is the Lords church established on the earth again and by living the principles taught in the church one may become closer to our Father in Heaven. That is why I decided to serve a mission, to help others to test this, to ask God to see if it is true, it has also helped strengthen my faith. I know this is true, and I know anyone can find out if they are willing to act on the answer they receive.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going out each morning to share my testimony with others and to help them find out if this is the true restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am spending two years of my life away from friends and family, giving all my time to God, I work every day to find the people who want to know if this is true or not and to help them take the steps they need to in order to find out if it is. This mission has become a huge part of my life, it will forever change the way I look at the world and how I treat others.
