Hi I'm Megan

I'm currently attending BYU-Idaho and preparing to serve a full-time mission for the Mormon church in Poland. I'm a mormon.

About Me

As a full time student in a state different than my home state it has been a huge growing experience for me to live on my own for the past 3 months! I love playing tennis and golfing. I like to think I can play the ukulele, but my only training is with Youtube and repetition. Living in a completely different place while I struggle with schoolwork and social life has been a little trying at times, but I take great comfort in my belief in Jesus Christ and God.

Why I am a Mormon

As I have prayed sincerely to ask if Jesus Christ lived and really suffered for me sins, asking also to know if there is a God and if He is the Father of my spirit, I have felt the truth of these things myself. I know that the teachings of the Prophets in these latter days lead to a better and happier life. I know that I can grow closer to the Savior and Heavenly Father who know me personally and unconditionally, and I know that because of their love and the Savior's atonement, I can repent and come back to them by making the choices that Christ exemplified in His earthly ministry. I love the gospel and believe it with all my heart, knowing that it is the only way to find peace and purpose on the earth.

How I live my faith

Every day I say at least two prayers where I remember Heavenly Father by thanking Him for specific things I have, as well as ask for His help in guiding my day. I avoid crude language and situations that may lead to bad decision-making. I try to look for opportunities to serve others around me and love to see the good in the world around!
