Hi I'm Jenny

I'm a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my family. I have 4 awesome siblings and the greatest parents. My husband is my best friend, and we have been blessed with 4 wonderful sons. I love spending time with all of them! My days are busy packing lunches, cooking meals, playing at parks, and driving to soccer practices. I wouldn't have it any other way! I love to exercise, make crafts, and eat chocolate. I also love the changing seasons and marvel at the beautiful world Heavenly Father has given us.

Why I am a Mormon

I am the oldest of 5 siblings. When I was born, my parents were not members of the church. My dad had an LDS friend and began to ask him questions about his beliefs. After gaining a testimony of the gospel, my parents were baptized when I was 4, and a year later we were sealed in the temple for all time and eternity. I am so grateful for my parents' decision to join the church. The knowledge I have gained as a result of the gospel has truly blessed me throughout my entire life. I am so grateful for the peace and strength the knowledge of the gospel brings in my life. I am grateful to know I have a Father in Heaven who listens to my prayers. He is always with me- I am never alone. I have felt his comfort many times. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I love the Book of Mormon. When I read it, I am filled with peace, with a greater desire to do what is right. It's so wonderful to read of the account of the Savior's ministry with the people who lived in the American continent. The teachings of Christ that we find in the church are an anchor for me and for my family. As a mother of 4 boys, I'm grateful for the solid foundation of the gospel. The world can be a crazy place with shifting values, but we can find peace and stability through Christ. I'm grateful to know that I can be with my family for all eternity!

How I live my faith

I love the gospel because it is so uplifting: it encourages me to be a better person, to have hope, faith and charity. I try to live my faith every day- to be Christlike with all I come in contact with. I also am a den leader in the Cub Scouting program, which is run through our church. I am blessed to serve with a group of 9 year old boys there. I also teach the women one Sunday a month during church services. I am grateful for opportunities to serve because they help me develop talents I never knew I had and because of the wonderful friendships I make.
