Hi I'm Emma

I'm a wife and mother. I love Chemistry. I love to sing, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married to my best friend and have a beautiful little daughter. They bring so much joy and happiness into my life! I couldn't ask for a better family. Family is a huge part of my life and we make sure to have lots of fun together! In our free time, we love to play games, go for walks, read together, watch movies, tease each other, dance in the kitchen, listen to music, play the piano and sing, eat, and play with our beautiful daughter. My husband and I both love music and can often be found singing random songs at the top of our lungs throughout the house. I love to read on my own as well, and almost always have a book or two that I'm in the process of reading. I also love to do crafts occasionally, especially some sort of sewing project. I don't have a huge talent with sewing, but I love to tinker around and increase my abilities! I also love to cook and find new recipes to try out! I recently graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Chemistry and I love to continue to learn! For now, I stay at home with my daughter as a full time mom and wife, and I love it! I find so much joy and satisfaction in what I do.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this church is true! I love the peace and strength the scriptures and the teachings of the prophets give me. I know that my Savior loves me and that He sacrificed so much for me so that I could come to this earth and learn and grow. I know He can and does heal and strengthen me. He has helped me to overcome so much! I know that we have a prophet here on the earth today and he truly does speak the words of God. I know that the Book or Mormon is so true! I learn so much and gain so much peace through reading and studying it. I know that it was translated through the power of God by the Prophet Joseph Smith. God is so mindful of us and He loves us more than we can ever know. He wants us to be happy, and He wants us to have the joy and happiness of becoming like Him. As I have studied chemistry in school, I find more and more things that show me there is a God. This universe is so amazing! And life is so intricate. Just as Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "All I have seen teaches me to trust the Creator for all I have not seen." I am just so grateful for this gospel and living it brings so much fulfillment and peace to my life. I love my Savior and Father in Heaven so much and I strive to show them that through living my life the way they have asked me to!

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by striving to follow the example of Jesus Christ. I desire to do the things He has asked us to do and continually try to do better each day. I read and study in the scriptures daily and spend time talking with my Father in Heaven through prayer. I also live my faith by participating in my local congregation. I am so blessed to work with the youth, specifically young women ages 12-18. They teach me so much and I love getting to know them better! I love our weekly activities because we have so much fun together! I also love getting to know the other women in our congregation better. I have made wonderful friends. I really love them and feel loved by them! I am always learning of ways I can become better. I make lots of mistakes and have to constantly repent, but I know that with the Savior's help, I can change and become more like Him.
