Hi I'm Jeff.

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the 2nd of 5 children. In college I majored in philosophy, and after graduating I attended medical school. Somehow I managed to convince the smartest and prettiest girl in my medical school class to marry me. I am now an anesthesiologist and father of 4 wonderful kids. I enjoy photography, cooking, reading, the outdoors and hanging out with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for a multitude of reasons. I have had experiences communing with God that have convinced me He is real and full of love for His children. I have experienced and witnessed the power of the atonement of Jesus Christ. I have seen Him lift the downtrodden and mend the broken heart. I have felt the peace of the gospel of Jesus Christ as I live my life in accordance with His gospel. The world and our experience here makes sense to me through the lens of Mormonism. Being a Mormon gives me a strong desire to do good and continually get better. I am a Mormon because it provides opportunities for me to serve and to learn and to love and to be happy.

How I live my faith

Currently I work with a Spanish-speaking congregation in the area where I live and make sure they receive the help and training that they need. I also give talks periodically to other nearby congregations. I visit members of my family's congregation in their homes and try to make sure that their temporal and spiritual needs are being met.
