Hi I'm Lisa

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay-at-home mother of four. Before I had children, I was a speech-language pathologist, and now I run my own photography business from home as a hobby. I also love reading and running, particularly training for long-distance races and triathlons.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was born, my parents were members of the church. After their divorce four or five years later, they both stopped attending church for a time. My mom took us to another church with some friends from time to time, but I always remembered my time at the LDS church and wanted to go back. My babysitter was a member of the church and with my mom's permission, she arranged for the missionaries to teach me at her house during the day. When I was 9.5, I chose to be baptized. I have stayed involved in the church since then because I have noticed the pattern that my life is happier and more meaningful when I live close to my Savior.

How I live my faith

I love being involved with my church community. My parents, siblings, and other extended family members all live in other states and my church community is my family. Right now I help plan activities for the women's organization and I coordinate compassionate service to help those in our congregation who are in need.
