Do you want to chat with a missionary?

We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Hi I'm Anna

I'm a student, a rugby player, and an adventurer. I enjoy being with friends and family, laughing, living life and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently a college student studying at Brigham Young University where I play collegiate rugby. I recently returned from serving as full-time missionary in Chicago Illinois. I love sports and being active, especially through outdoor recreation. I enjoy blogging, playing the ukulele and piano, being a big sister, horseback riding, and dark chocolate. I love laughing, hanging out with friends, summer rainstorms, anything mint colored, and all the small joys of life.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints means everything to me. I was fortunate enough to grow up in a strong LDS home and be taught by parents who also loved and cherished the scriptures and the gospel. I know that I have been blessed of the Lord to have this knowledge and understanding in my life, which guides and directs me every day. In the scriptures and the teachings of the prophets, I find answers to my questions about life and my purpose here. It guides me through the struggles and difficult times that I face and lifts me up when I'm down. It draws me closer to my Savior and allows me to have a close and binding relationship with Him. I know that He lives and that this is His gospel restored upon the earth. He directs this church and invites all of His children to come to Him through living the gospel. Because of my testimony in Him and His church, I have chosen to serve an 18 month mission so that I, though my contribution may be small, may assist Him in bringing others to the light and warmth of the gospel.

How I live my faith

Living my faith has always been a blessing in my life. It always brings me happiness and fulfillment to serve those around me. I love finding opportunities to serve others in small ways. Touching lives, performing small acts of service, sharing my beliefs, etc. are ways that I find to live my faith. In the church, I've served as the ward service council co-chair of my singles ward, the ward organist, choir pianist, and as a youth leader for the young women of my ward. In all of these callings, I have developed a greater understanding and testimony of my Savior and His love for me and all His children. I enjoyed serving as a full-time missionary in the Chicago IL mission as well. This allowed me to dedicate all of my time and efforts towards bringing God's children into the light of His restored gospel. And it was truly fulfilling work! I see the gospel blessing the lives of myself and others daily, making good people better, and better people the best they can be. I also enjoy going to the temple, reading and studying my scriptures daily, and listening to our prophet's council which helps me live closer to the Lord and His teachings.
