Hi I'm Kelly

I grew up in Venezuela. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Single mom, my son has autism. We both love to color and paint together, we love painting abstract design only the we understand. We love music, I'm learning to play piano the same a my baby, and I love to sign when I'm by myself. We both love animals, I take him to the pet store or the zoo because he love anmals. He is no very gentle with them but he love them. He always an adventure and a lot of work, but I love my son. I'm going to school night now studying web design, I'm also a graphic design and a zumba instructor.

Why I am a Mormon

When I started going to church it was mainly for my son but as I continue to come I have felt hapiness and peace in my life. This allstarted with me reading a book. The title is Louder than words. The book is about a mom dealing with her son diagnosis of autism. In the book she tries everything she can to help her son but the only thing that truly helps is when she invited the missionaries over to pray. After I read this I began my journey looking for the church and invited the missionaries over. When they came it brought tears to my eyes. My son wasn't make much progress before that day but as the missionaries taught me and prayed with me for my son he began to make progress, he started talking, now he is in school and take piano lesson. I took that leap of faith when I invited the missionaries over and i've felt more happiness then I can describe. I will always be thanks for that day I found that book and for this journey i've began to my father in heaven.

How I live my faith

Now that I'm baptized, I really felt like I'm a part of big family we support each other, pray together, sig together and are always there for each other. I teach a small group of children in our congregation about Jesus Christ and I love it. I also continue to meet with the missionaries we pray and continue to learn togather. I'm preparing to go through the temple and I'm excited to go there and feel the peace and blessing that come. I have made good friends that help me through the good and bad times...
