Hi I'm Noah

I grew up in Cali. I'm a Missionary. I love to share the Gospel. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Prescott, Arizona in February of 1993. I am the oldest of three boys in my family. I was pretty much raised in Southern California my whole life, in areas like Los Angeles and Orange County. I really enjoy baseball (go giants!) and listening to a variety of musical genres from: folk, alt rock, electronic, etc. I love the rain and cold weather, especially when I'm out snow boarding, it makes me feel at peace. One of my aspirations is to join the Coast Guard and see the world. I am currently serving as a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Maryland Baltimore Mission. I would have to say that sharing the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ is my true passion and has brought me more peace and satisfaction than any thing else in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because when I follow the teachings of Jesus Christ as taught in the LDS Church, I feel inner peace. I won't lie, being Mormon is hard and requires a lot of commitment and personal sacrifice. But the life of a disciple wasn't intended to be an easy one. When life gets hard and begins to weigh heavily on me I remember the Savior's words, "Come unto me, all ye that labor, and are heavy laden, and I shall give you rest." But as for the question "Why I'm a Mormon" my answer is because of the peace it has brought to me, which peace comes from the understanding, and application in my life, of the Atonement of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I believe that when you live the Gospel you have to share it and set a good example. I believe that true faith should always be accompanied by good works, faith is not a passive belief. For the Bible says, "Faith without works is dead, having nothing..." Much of main stream Christianity teaches that faith alone is the only way to be saved, this is simply not accurate. We must act on the righteous desires of our hearts, for that is how we will be judged.
