Hi I'm Zac Zobell

I'm a Mormon and I love to waterski.

About Me

I grew up in Centerville, Utah. Served as a missionary for the church for two years in Northern Brazil. Graduated from the University of Utah with an accounting degree and now work for a small oil company in Denver. I've been married for ten years to my lovely wife and have three wonderful daughters, I'm outnumbered but they're a lot of fun. We love working on our house and we're always remodeling a room. We love going to Grandma's house and swimming and skiing, see you on the Lake!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, a.k.a Mormons, because I believe it is the only true church of Jesus Christ otherwise there would be no point in belonging to it. The book of Mormon is a record of Christ's appearance to the inhabitants of the American continent and a record of a people who traveled from Jerusalem to the Americas. After reading the book of Mormon I know that Christ appeared to the people in the Americas and gave revelations to prophets there who recorded these events which are now the book of Mormon. I know these things were done and revealed to us so that we would know that Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints is Christ's true church. Through his church we are taught the steps that are needed to become like him and to be able to return to his presence after this life. These teachings have brought me and my family great happiness and I would encourage everyone to become familiar with the book of Mormon and talk with missionaries from the church to learn about Christ's teachings. May the Lord bless us and guide us in all we do.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by small and simple steps. Attending church each week with my family helps learn more about the gospel and strengthens our values and beliefs. Doing the small things like family prayer and having our children hear us pray for them and that they will get married in the temple someday helps them know what is really important in life. The temple is the Lord's house and allows spouses to be married and families sealed through his priesthood for this life and the next. No one has the power to overcome death on their own and it only through Christ's power that we will be resurrected, similarly only marriages and families sealed through the Lord's priesthood will last beyond this life as well. I'm thankful for the opportunity I had to be married in the Lord's temple and that my family can be together forever.
