Hi I'm Ron

I grew up in Utah. I an Allergy/ Immunology physician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I served a mission for my church in Madrid, Spain. I had the opportunity to join the United States Air Force and attend medical school. I subspecialized in Allergy/ Immunology. I enjoy providing care for children and adults to improve quality of life of the patients that I serve. I enjoy spending time in nature seeing the beautiful creations that our Heavenly Father provided for our use. I like to standing in a mountain stream fly fishing for trout when I have free time. I also enjoy biking, hiking, running, canoeing or kayaking.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Christain. Belief in Jesus Christ and his power to save is central to my belief. I believe in the Bible and enjoy reading about how God chose prophets to lead his children. Jesus Christ set a perfect example for us. He organized his church and choose 12 apostles to lead his church after he died on the cross for our sins. Ultimately all the apostles were persecuted and martyred. I am a Mormon because I believe that our Heavenly Father is the same yesterday, today and forever. He loves all of his children. We need his direction and guidance today in the complex world that we live in just as much as those who lived during Bible times. God showed his love by restoring all the truths of the gospel taught by Jesus Christ in our day. Through revelation Joseph Smith was called to be a prophet in the 1820's. Joseph Smith also translated the Book of Mormon which is another testament of Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon contains the dealings of God with those who lived in the Americas. I know that the simple and pure doctrines taught in the Book of Mormon are true and can help one draw closer to Jesus Christ. I know that God continues to speak to his children. There is a prophet today who reveals God's truth to his children.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by teaching my children about the gospel of Jesus Christ. Family is central to the gospel of Jesus Christ. As a family we spend time together once a week learning about the gospel. We like to play games together as a family. We also enjoy spending time together outdoor such as skiing and biking. I served those in my church community this summer by organizing a campout. We had about a 100 people come out. We provided an evening campfire, entertainment and dessert. The next morning we cooked a large breakfast for everyone. The rest of the morning and afternoon was spent swimming and boating in the lake. At church I serve by providing leadership and teach the men in our congregation. I teach about how to be a better father and husband. We study the Bible and Book of Mormon together.
