Hi I'm Makenna

I was born and raised in Arizona. I love music, and art. And I'm a Mormon. :)

About Me

I am 14 years old, and I love being a part of this gospel. The things I enjoy the most are my family, listening to music, and creating things with my hands. I am the oldest child in my family, and love my parents and siblings very much. I thank the Lord every day for giving them to me to guide and love and teach me. I absolutely love the rain, which is ironic.... because I live in Arizona, but oh well! I love to laugh and smile. I also love to hang out with my friends. I feel it a blessing to have the knowledge of the gospel in my life. I would be completely lost without it.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the gospel of th Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder-Day Saints, and I have every intention to keep the faith my entire life. I am so blessed to have the knowledge I do, and to be able to share it with others, that they may have comfort and peace like I do. It is not always easy to be persecuted by others who do not have share the same beliefs I do, but I know in the end that all is well. God will not give any of his beloved children a trial or hardship they cannot handle. I have a firm belief that through our loving Heavenly Father, all things are made possible. I know that by looking for the Lord's hand in all things, we are lead to him, and we will experience great joy and happiness, as I have felt this in my own life. I know with all my heart that no matter where you are, who you are, God is mindful of each one of us. I am so grateful to have been able to experience the Savior's endless love for me. I also have a firm belief that because Christ atoned for me, he knows me perfectly and I am never alone, because he knows my sorrows, my weaknesses and my greatest goals and desires in life. I know that my Heavenlt Father knows me by name. He wants what is best for me in my life. I am also very grateful for prayer in my life. I know that no matter where I am, he hears me, and will answer my prayers. However, these prayers are not always answered in the way I want them to be, but they are in the way He sees fit for me. He has a plan for me, and I know he loves me with a love deeper than we could ever know. One of the most important things I am thankful for is the opportunity to live with my family for eternity, as well as repentance, that I can be whole again spiritually. Though we cannot see Him, he is always near us in spirit. I am also grateful for the Holy Ghost, and the loving guidance I have received from Him. Again, I am so grateful to have the Gospel in my life, and to be made a better person because of it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church, and partaking of the Sacrament every Sunday. I also enjoy going to Mutual, and talking to all of my wonderful friends in Young Women's. I love to study the Scriptures at night, as well as praying to my Heavenly Father, as this draws me closer to him. I love to go to the temple, because it brings me peace. I also love to talk to people about the gospel. I do this, because I want them to have all the happiness in their life that I have in mine.
