Hi I'm Jim Wyler

I'm a Mormon. My wife and I have been in productions for years. We started a performing arts charter school in Mesa, AZ in 1996.

About Me

I've been in music and productions for years.

Why I am a Mormon

I found the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as I began a religious quest as a senior in high school and 1st year in college. I read the New Testament in a slow and methodical fashion with many question. As I read and began to get answers to questions of (1) grace and works and (2) the trinity or Father, Son and Holy Ghost. After hours of prayer I had an amazing experience of the knowledge of faith that Jesus Was the Christ. It was a powerful experience. It changed my life. Years later I was going to read the New Testament again and I was challenged to read the Book of Mormon. I went to a two week annual military activity with my "Reserve Unit" and I did just that. I read the Book of Mormon and put it to the test. I was looking for inconsistencies from my previous reading of the New Testament. To my surprise it had the same spirit and the message was as strong as the New Testament of Jesus Christ. The answers I had reading the New Testament for (1) Grace and Works and (2) The Trinity vs Father, Son & Holy Ghost were also verifies. I found out through this experience that I believed "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint" believed what I had discovered on my own through sincere reading of both the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I began to study the "History of Joseph Smith" and found great information of his search for the truth as I had. I found the truth through sincerely reading and ernest prayer to find the truth. The LDS church is truly loving and charitable to it's members. The church has the countenance of Jesus Christ and his messages he gave 2 thousand years ago in Galallee.

How I live my faith

I have done years of service through music and productions. I recently performed in the orchestra with my french horn in "The Lamb of God". This was stake presentation that used full symphony orchestra and a large stake chorus.
