Hi I'm Jordan Stacy

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have recently returned to my college studies after having served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Brazil. Before my mission, I enjoyed a year of college at Brigham Young University-Hawaii and loved it. I've lived in many places including Hawaii, California, Washington, Montana, Japan and Texas and Brazil, and currently find myself at Brigham young university in Utah. I love to play sports and be active. I enjoy basketball, volleyball, soccer, football, and most other sports. I like to be active and go backpacking, camping or be outdoors enjoying nature. I was adopted into my loving family just after I was born. I have three wonderful sisters and two amazing parents who raised my siblings and I well. I am very grateful for the life that I have been given and everything that the Lord has blessed me with.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church and was always doing what I should and going to church every week because of the righteous example of my sisters and parents. For much of my youth, I solely relied on the testimony of my family or close friends and was merely going through the motions. However, after receiving a spiritual witness for myself, coming to know the Book of Mormon is true and that this is the Lord's true church, I had a strong enough testimony to rely on. I'm grateful for the righteous examples of leaders, friends and family members who helped me to continue doing what is right until I found out for myself.

How I live my faith

I am currently responsible for planning special activities for the other members of my ward (congregation) and am grateful for the opportunity to serve them through this calling! I had a great opportunity to show my faith through voluntarily serving the Lord and His children by serving a full-time mission for the Church in Brazil. What a challenge, but what a blessing!I love the opportunity to share my joy and this Gospel with everyone I meet. It is a blessing in my own life as I feel the love of the Lord and have my testimony continually strengthened each and everyday. Before my service as a full-time missionary, I served in various callings helping plan activities and events in my ward, and also as various leadership positions in my youth groups. I have had the opportunity to home teach (be responsible for) many wonderful families and have met many great people throughout my time as a home teacher. I'm grateful for the joy, happiness and stability that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints brings to my life as well as my family's.
