Hi I'm Christina

I design and sew cloths. I work part time and go to school part time. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Currently I am a running start student at the community college as I am finishing up my last year of high school. I plan to stay in town for a while until I am able to get a two year degree under my belt, then possibly transfer to a four year school where I plan on getting a BA in fashion design. My parents let me transform one of our half-bedrooms into a sewing room for me to work in. I work at fast food currently to earn a little extra cash as I am trying to save up for a sportbike. Yes, you read it right, a motorcycle. I love just being able to hang out with my friends and have a good time sqeezing a few laughs out of life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised LDS so my parents did help me start off in the church. Do not get me wrong though-- I have not gone to church just because my parents have made me. We have not really gotten along for the past five years and just recently I have humbled myself and have decided to make things better and am gaining a much better relationship with them. The only reason why I gave that background was to say that during times of darkness, I clung to the church at my own will. At a time of depression when I had no friends, family, counseling, or medical support, all that I seemed to have was prayer, the scriptures, and laughter. I am a Mormon because at a time of darkness when no person was there for me, the gospel of Christ was. Not only has it been there for minimal support but it has given me the extra mile to help me laugh, smile, and take days a bit easier. Being a Mormon does not take away all trials and heartache in life, but it sure does help to bear them. I am a Mormon because I find peace in the knowledge that someone knows exactly how I feel through every circumstance I am in and knows my truest intentions. I am a Mormon, because I know that my redeemer lives. I know that he loves me. I know that he subtly speaks to me personally.

How I live my faith

I regularly attend my church meetings, I attend Seminary and Mutual (youth group). I am working on Personal Progress and hope to finish it before I graduate. Deeper than that, I just try to emulate Christ and all that he did and taught.
