Hi I'm Heber

I'm a friend, a son, and a ginger.I am a lover of sports. I'm a beast. I love food. And I'm a mormon

About Me

I come from a family of five with three sisters and one brother who is almost like a twin to me which comes in handy many times. I love to play sports. I play soccer, football, and volleyball and i enjoy every minute playing sports. I currently go to high school and pass my classes with flying colors. Recently i chip fractured my left ankle and life would almost be miserable if not for my friends in the church to help me out! So i guess you could say i am not a fan of being injured at all! I've eaten cow tongue and it was surprisingly good, the texture and look was the only scary part but other than that it tasted fine. I enjoy listening to country music with some hip-hop thrown in there. I also love being mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm mormon because god blessed my ancestors into joining the gospel. Their decision has affected my life entirely for the better. My whole family is mormon and we love being mormon. But besides my family urging me to be mormon i had to decide for myself if i really wanted to be apart of this church. So when i was 8 years old i prayed to my heavenly father and i got the impression that this is infact the only true church on the face of the earth and i was baptized. Being baptized was one of the greatest decisions in my life! Because i was baptized i have been apart of a church that has help me in so many ways to be the person i am today. When i turned 12 i recieved the aaronic priesthood, the priesthood is the power of god on earth. There have been many times when the spirirt has bore witness to me that the church is true and one of those times was when i was given the aaronic priesthood.

How I live my faith

I currently am a hometeacher in my ward and it has really been a great experience for me. I go to members of our wards home and i talk with them and see how they're doing and at the end i leave them with a spiritual thought. I home teach with my dad. Im apart of my scout group and i help lead members of my troop into being better at specific skills such as archery, shot gun shooting and many more things. I try to be an example to my friends at school and i encourage others to do what is right. Most kids know me as a mormon and i love that because they know exactly what my standards are and it helps them to see how mormons are different than everyone else in a good way.
