Hi I'm Cody

I play baseball. I am Navajo. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Right now I am serving a mission for this church and it is pretty awesome. I love to play baseball and I will play when I get off my mission for some college, I don't know where. I love to listen to music and play the drums and guitar. I mostly listen to metal and rock but I'll listen to other stuff here and there if I like it. I have two older brothers thet have served missions also. I am a big Los Angeles sports fan, I love the Dodgers and the Lakers and the Ducks. I like the Detroit Lions because Los Angeles does not have a football team.

Why I am a Mormon

Well my conversion story to this church might not be as profound or miraculous as others but I still have an unshakable testimony of this church and the restored gospel of Jesus Crist it contains. I grew up in the church and didnt really know if it was true as I grew up going to church and to seminary. It all seemed a little too crazy but as I searched for answers and decided to go on a mission, my testimony of the church started to grow and I could feel that this was what I needed to be doing and where I needed to be. All of my questions and doubts about the church went away and I knew that it was true. Now that I am on my mission my testimony of the truthfulness of this gospel has grow ten-fold and I know without a doubt that the doctrine preached in this church testify of Jesus Christ and his love for us. I love My Savior and I know that this is his true church here on the earth in its restored form, just as it was in his time whn he walked the earth with his apostles. We can still talk to him today and he has definitely answered my prayers.

How I live my faith

The way I live my faith is by serving the lord everyday and sharing this gospel with others trying to help them understand the truth and revealing Heavenly Fathers message as the way he would want me to. I invite others to come unto Christ through his gospel and preparing them to be baptized unto repentance.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

It is simple, the goal of this life is to return to our Heavenly father's presence, and no unclean thing can dwell with our Heavenly Father, and as we all know, we are not clean. We all sin and come short to the glory of God. What Christ did for us is how we return to the prescence of our Heavenly Father without sin and can become clean through the Atonement of Christ. The Atonement started with Christ suffering in the Garden of Gethsemane and ended with his Resurrection. Christ is the only name and way wherein we can be cleansed and saved. He commands us to follow his Doctrine in order to receive the atonement in our live and apply it. Show more Show less
