Hi I'm Tammy

I am a wife and a mother and a therapist that works in school based mental health and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have five grown children and one daughter still at home. I live in Western Montana in a very rural area. I was once divorced but am happily married now. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and am a therapist working with emotionally disturbed children. I love to read, sew, play games, and spend time with my children and husband and extended family. My husband and I grew up in large families and we love our parents, all of our siblings and neices and nephews very much. The next great adventure my husband I are hoping for is to be grandparents and hopefully some day to serve a mission together.

Why I am a Mormon

I am so happy to have the gospel in my life. I grew up in the LDS Church and can not imagine life any other way. I know that our Heavenly Father loves us no matter what color, age, sex, occupation or national origin. I know that he can see in our hearts and know what our challenges are. I know there are times that he holds us in the hollow of his hand, protecting and helping us. The gospel is a guide to me and my family during very difficult times. I know that I am not perfect and have made mistakes in my life and I know it is through the Savior's atoning sacrifice that we all can return and live with our Heavenly Father again.

How I live my faith

I have worked with the youth of the chursh most of my adult life, from toddlers in the nursery, to teaching Sunday lessons to children in Primary to The Young Womens Program and Girl's Camp and in several leadership roles. Right now I am teaching Early Morning Seminary which is class for young people ages 14 to 18 and that is held in the morning before school starts. This year we are studying the Old Testament. I try to live my faith by loving those around me. The greatest example was Jesus Christ and though I am far from perfect, I try to love others the way the saviour would.
