Hi I'm Christal

I grew up in North Carolina. I'm a mother. I'm a wife. I'm a daughter. I'm a sister. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom with a young toddler. I have been married for almost 6 years and it has been wonderful. I love to cook and to help out my family and friends. I am really big into doing service, which I didn't know until recently. I became a member of the LDS Church almost 7 years ago. My husband introduced me to the gospel, and he also baptised me. I love my family more than anything in this world and I love my Heavenly Father even more.

Why I am a Mormon

When I sat down with the missionaries for the first time, everything just made sense. It seemed as though I had already heard the gospel and I just knew it was right. I scheduled my baptism date on my first visit with the missionaries. Once I was baptised and I received the gift of the Holy Ghost, I felt a burning in my heart that further confirmed the truthfulness of the gospel of the LDS Church. From that day on, my life has changed, and I am so very grateful. It's not about what you are giving up to join the church, it's about the happiness you will feel when you do join. I am so grateful that my husband brought the gospel into my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily. Nearly every decision I make is based on my belief in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I try to pray and follow the promptings of the Holy Ghost, especially with big decisions. I attend church every Sunday for three hours. I participate in a calling at church where I organize the women into pairs called Visiting Teachers. They go to other women member's home once a month to bring a gospel message and assist with any help that is needed. I also do lots of service for others. Living the gospel is living as Jesus Christ lived.
