Hi I'm Nadine

I love to help others, I am a nurse, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student enrolled in a LPN to RN nursing program. I enjoy boating, dancing, singing, anything active, being surrounded by friends and family, and helping others. I hope to either get a job as a Labor and Delivery nurse or in the ER once I graduate in August. I once played the harp, and hope to pick up playing again once I am all through school. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and always have been naturally faithful in keeping the commandments. I went through a more rebellious stage growing up when I surrounded myself with poor friends, but changing and turning my life around only drew me closer to our Savior. I have a deep love for our Heavenly Father and I am so thankful for all the tools that he gives us to help me make it through the day. Life hits us all very hard at times, sometimes life gets very complicated, but it is the small and simple things like prayer and scripture study that solve life's most complicated issues. I am so thankful for the atonement and how it has changed my life. I am thankful that God knows me personally, and he puts people and objects in my life that inspire me and help me in exactly the way i needed them to. I learn so much through the people that I have in my life, and I am so grateful to have a loving family here on earth that I can be with for eternity. The gospel has blessed my life in so many ways that I cannot begin to write them all down. I love the prophet Joseph Smith and all the other prophets for sacrificing so much so that we may all experience the truth. I am so thankful to know that once we pass through this life it is not the end. I look forward to the day that I can wrap my arms around the people that have moved on and that meant very much to me. Having their spirits with me as I struggle to make it through day by day has been such an enormous blessing in my life. I love this gospel with all my heart, I know that it is true. :)

How I live my faith

I attend a young single adult ward and I am the music coordinator! I get to pick the hymns that are sung each week in church that invite the spirit into our meetings. I switch off with one other girl either conducting the music or playing the piano. I love my calling because during the week I make time to practice the hymns, it is very relaxing and definitely makes my day brighter. :)

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Many of my friends have asked me this exact question. I always tell them that I am more than willing to share with them my testimony of the gospel and tell them what I believe. But they are never going to know for themselves until they ponder it in their heart and ask God themselves. God is a God of love, and when we come to him and ask him a question he will give us an answer. Show more Show less
