Hi I'm Rachel

I'm an Engineer, I'm an Artist, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work in Utah as an Engineer. I'm married to a wonderful man who also happens to be an Engineer.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a traditional Mormon family. I grew up attending church, leaning from my parents, and gaining a testimony of my own.

How I live my faith

Now that I am an adult, I am so grateful for the solid foundation my parents and the Gospel have given me. I have a way to judge every piece of information I hear and know if it is true. I have been taught how to reason and think for myself.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Rachel
I believe in happily ever after. The knowledge of the doctrine of eternal families give strength in times of sorrow and a hope unlike any other. I know that there is life after death and I can be with my family. Show more Show less

What is a ward/stake/branch?

Rachel
Wards are your neighborhood congregation, the group of people who meet together each Sunday. It includes everyone in a section of the town or sometimes a larger area. Each week the same lessons are taught at every ward in the whole world. The Bishop is the leader of the ward is called to serve the members of the ward as a volunteer Clergy. Sometimes where the church is still growing in number of members a Branch will be formed before it becomes a full Ward. The Leader of the Branch is called a Branch President. A Stake is a group of wards, and Stake Leaders help plan activities and service etc, on a larger scale. Show more Show less
