Hi I'm Heidi

I grew up in a small town playing sports and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in the same house until I moved out to Cheney WA to go to school. I am a student at Eastern Washington University as a Recreational Therapy major. I played the clarinet for 9 years, played volleyball, basketball, track for 6 years until I came to college where I now play on the Womens Rugby team and I'm on the executive team where I am in charge of recruting. In high school I broke the school record for shotput, which I consider one of my greatest accomplishments. Along with graduating with a BA in Thearpuetic Recreation, I hope to be a future wife and mother. I would like to become a stay at home mom that is what I aspire to be.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but even though I did there comes a time when you have to find out for yourself if the church is true. I asked my Heavenly Father when I was 12 years old. I was struggling with finding friends. I was a fat kid and would get picked on in middle school. The typical girls who say they were your "friend" when they really didn't like you. So I prayed and I asked heavenly father that if the church is true to please send me just one friend who will be there for me. I don't care what she looks like or what she like just that she would be my friend. One year later, this girl moved in to the ward right before we went to girls camp and eventually I realized that she was the answer to my prayer. To this day we are still best friends while we attend different schools. This is just one of the many answers that I have been given from my Heavenly Father. I know that this church is true. I know that Joesph Smith restored the goespl. I know that with the lord on your side you can do anything with a righetous purpose. I know that he is always there to hear and help you no matter what struggles or trials you face. You are not alone, all it takes is asking and he will help you out in some way shape or form.

How I live my faith

I try to live everyday to please my Father in Heaven, I do not participate in drinking, drugs, tabacco or any other harmful substances. I respect other people of other faiths, I will not judge you, but except you for who you are. I have been a leader in my youth in each age group. I do not swear or take the Lords name in vain. I love to have a smile on my face everyday and try to help someone in need. It may seem like I have given up alot things in order to be apart of this church but I can garentee that by the end of my days it will be well worth it.
