Hi I'm Miles

I was born and raised in Mesa Arizona. I am recently graduated from High School and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up as the second oldest of eight. I have three sisters and four brothers. It's wonderful to have such a large family; I love it! I try to find joy in the journey and I enjoy a good laugh here and there, but most of the time I find that I'm only laughing at myself. As a hobby I particularly enjoy cycling. Taking my bicycle out for a spin helps me relax and gives me time to reflect and unwind. I don't know if I will ever get bored as long as I have a good jig-saw puzzle within reach; nothing over 1,000 pieces though! I feel very blessed to be alive and I'm excited to see what the future has in store.

Why I am a Mormon

The past few years have been filled with answers to prays and tender mercies that the Lord has given to me. Being a Mormon enables me to actively share the experiences that I have had and pass on the good news that has brought me so much joy in my life. When I start a family of my own I want to focus on teaching my children how to pray to their Heavenly Father and make sure they know how blessed they are to be members of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints. Sometimes when I have a stressful or challenging day I just say to myself, "I'm a Mormon boy." Every time I do that I can't help but smile!

How I live my faith

For me, religion isn’t just something you do on Sundays; it is a part of my every-day life. One key element of living my faith is taking the time to visit and talk with my neighbors and those friends that I'm around on a weekly or daily basis. Regardless of their personal beliefs or views, I find that there is almost always some way in which I am able to bring up the Gospel and teachings of Jesus Christ. Often, I have the privilege of sharing my testimony and bearing witness that God lives and loves each one of us. The love that I have for my Savior brings me closer to my spiritual brothers and sisters and allows me to connect with them in a way that would be otherwise impossible. I try to be of service through my actions and through the words that I speak. Living my faith takes a lot of humility and sacrifice, but to me it is no sacrifice at all when I take the time to see all that my Father in Heaven has blessed me with!
