Hi I'm Kimber

I love adventure. I love to work. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi there! I am currently serving in the Portugal Lisbon Mission and I can't imagine being anywhere else at this time! Before life as a full-time missionary, I went to Brigham Young University-Hawaii and majored in Hospitality. The hikes, the ocean, the friends, and the Laie temple made things pretty close to paradise. In between school years, I was a seasonal worker at a fishing lodge in Alaska. My time in Hawaii and Alaska has made me realize that I love adventure! Kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, salt-water fishing, river fishing, rollerblading, ice skating, back packing, doodling, photography, --trying new things is my favorite! My motto is "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." (2 Tim. 1:7)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know with out a shadow of a doubt that the Atonement of Jesus Christ is real. The Atonement gives my life purpose. Christ has made it possible to become perfect, maybe not in this life, but I have hope that eventually I will gain eternal salvation and exaltation. I am a Mormon because I find peace in living this gospel and following the prophets. I am a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon with real intent and I know that it is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by increasing my testimony of this gospel and then sharing it with everyone!. I read the Book of Mormon everyday, pray to my Heavenly Father and looking for opportunities to serve others. Heavenly Father gives me the strength to be bold in living my faith, especially as a missionary. I have found that Heavenly Father definitely answers the desires of my heart when I involve Him and put Him first.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Kimber
I know that there is a prophet called of God on the earth today named Thomas S. Monson. I know that God will always call a prohpet to lead and guide His children because God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. I am so grateful for latter-day prophets that receive revelation specifically for the trials that people experience in our day. Show more Show less
