Hi I'm Jordan Johnson

I grew up in Michigan, I went to Brigham Young University Idaho. I'm serving a mission in Cambodia. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name in Jordan Johnson, I am currently at the Missionary Training Center preparing to serve in Cambodia. I was raised in Michigan then I went to Brigham Young University Idaho for two semesters. In January 2012 my family moved to Shanghai, China. We love it there and hope that missionaries will soon be able to go there.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed enough to be born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I keep going to church and living by its teachings because I can see the blessings of it everyday. A huge blessing is being able to repent when I mess up in life. I can't imagine what life would be like without this church. We have a living propeht that leads and guides us just like Moses and Abraham. I know our Heavenly Father loves us and wants what's best for us. Through studying the Book of Mormon and the Bible, I've come to a better knowlege of the Savior. I know that Christ lives, and he will come again.

How I live my faith

First of all, I live my faith by attending my church meetings each sunday. I actively pay attention to those instructing me and to the spirit for guidence. I talk to my heavenly father in prayer. Prayer is something everyone can do. Prayer is essential to help me know what I should do, and it helps me to build my relationship with heavenly father. I also read the scriptures to understand the teachings and to understand what I need to change in my life. I serve as a home teacher in my ward, which allowes me to serve others. Service and charity is important to any faith. Through service, I can show my Heavenly Father my willingness to serve him.
