Hi I'm Kristen!

Hey I'm Kristen. I'm a mormon. I love animals. I love candy.

About Me

I am an avid words with friends player, animal rights activist, sci-fi fanatic and mom of three ferrets, Grizz, Lunchbox, and Peanut. I watch too much TV, but I love to talk about it. I work at Lush cosmetics and I'm also a freelance hairdresser. I am half Japanese.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I cannot deny the existence of a God who loves me. Life is too hard to not be rewarded with a life where we can be happy after we die, and the gospel as taught by my faith explains this plan in detail. I am a mormon because I've read the Book of Mormon and I can relate and apply the book to my life. It is a book that cannot be a fraud. I continue to be a member of my church because by following its teachings it has brought happiness in my life.

How I live my faith

I volunteer three hours a week every Wednesday in the Family History Center attached to the church building. There we help people find their ancestors and further their genealogy. I live my faith by being nice and helpful to people. I like to have lots of friends both of my faith and not.
