Hi I'm LeeAnn.

I'm a Texan, I'm a Registered Nurse, I love to laugh, I'm drawn to things that sparkle, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Most people that know me know that I LOVE Texas. I came out West for school and have stayed for various reasons but am trying to get back to the great state as fast as I can. I am definitely a girlie-girl but also love the outdoors. I grew up in a family that has a passion for the lake...water skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, jet-skiing...we do it all and love it. I like to run but don't take it too seriously. A few fun races a year and I call it good. Most of all I love people. I have a huge family and have been blessed with great friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a family with a long Mormon heritage. Among other things, as I child I was taught to pray, love the Lord, and to love others. Now, as I face different challenges and difficult decisions, my faith has laid a strong foundation for me. It directs my actions, gives me purpose, and provides hope and strength. As I study and pray about the Bible and the Book of Mormon, as well as the teachings of this faith, I feel the Spirit touch my heart and I know that it is true.

How I live my faith

I currently worship with other young adults that are not married. This allows me to meet people who are in a similar situation to me. I attend church services every Sunday and other activities throughout the week. I chair a committee that helps young adults find employment and housing. By doing this I am able to share my knowledge and skills with others. Living my life by the principles and doctrines of this church brings me happiness and reaffirms to me that this church is true.
