Hi I'm Katie

I am a teacher, I love cows, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from ASU in December 2011 with an elementary teaching degree and am currently finishing up my first semester of teaching kindergarten. In my spare time I enjoy reading, watching movies, and hanging out with friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter - day Saints for almost two and a half years now. I chose to be baptized because I couldn't imagine living my life without the gospel in it. I know that Heavenly Father hears my prayers and answers to my prayers have been confirmed to me through the Holy Ghost. I know that He is aware of each and every one of us and that He loves us and wants nothing but the best for us. Because of the gospel, I have gained such a great understanding of the purpose of life and this knowledge really puts everything that we go through in life into perspective and helps me to realize my purpose and potential in life. I have come to know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and that He came to this earth and then died for each one of us to be able to return to Him and our Heavenly Father once again after this life. I know that through Him and His atonement we can be cleansed and feel the great joy in which we are capable of feeling here on this earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to possess and display Christ - like attributes in my daily life. In my ward, I have a calling that allows me to get to know people who are learning about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter - day Saints and also new members in our church. I also have the opportunity to visit teach which allows me to get together with a few other girls from my ward and talk about the gospel and get to know one another.
