Hi I'm Holly

I became a widow at 29. I am a stay-at-home Mom of four boys. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home Mom of four crazy wild boys who know to be sweet when it really matters. I lost my very best freind, the love of my life, my husband and the father of my children in August of 2010. I love interior decorating, photography, running/walking, the outdoors, seeing new places but more then anything I love my incredible circle of family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ. I know that through following our Heavenly Father's commandments and striving to become like Christ we can return to live with them and our families and have eternal joy. When I lost my husband in a tragic accident I didn't know what to do. I never in my life had experienced such horrific physical and emotional pain. I felt so alone even though I was surrouned by family. I was so terrified of life and how on earth I was going to be able to support and raise my sweet boys without my best friend and partner. It wasn't until I finally started praying to our Heavenly Father and searching the scriptures that I was finally able to find some peace and comfort. I have felt the love of our Heavenly Father. I feel so blessed to have his gospel in my life. Without his teachings I don't think I would still be standing today or able to see the blessings and joys that surround me.

How I live my faith

I go to church with my family every Sunday. I have been given the privilege to donate my time to teaching the children in our church for the past 12 years. I have taught the children from 18 months all the way to 13 years. I love to teach them as well as learn and grow from them. I love to go to class to learn and be uplifted by other women in the church and have the opportunity to visit teach with a few women in their homes once a month. I love to be able to give compassionate service to those in need. As a family and personally we work to study the scriptures, pray, and serve others daily. We are not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but we try each day to draw closer to our Heavenly Father.
