Hi I'm Lindsay

I’m head over heels in love with life, I LOVE laughing, I love the little things, and I love creating. I'm a Mormon. :)

About Me

I’m head over heels in love with life. My relationship with my Heavenly Father is without doubt my number one priority. My relationship with my family closely follows and I love my friends dearly. I love people in general. I sing in the car at the top of my lungs. I’m happiest when I’m surrounded by inspiring and powerful people who want to change the world. :) I LOVE laughing. I love mentoring. I am a summertime counselor for a program called "Youth for Freedom!" I absolutely love watch lives change. I LOVE learning, I look to learn multiple new things everyday. The classic's are my favorite. I love all things blue/brown/green. I LOVE rolling down grassy hills in the summer. I like winter, I'm a lover of snow. I adore sweaters. I once hula-hooped for a straight hour. I’m quite in love with Disney movies. I enjoy playing around on the piano. My favorite foods would be Cafe Rio tacos, Indian Food and Sushi. Chocolate is my favorite. Especially Truffles. I love to vacuum. I'm a fan of cleaning in general; it’s satisfying. I like hugs. I've kept a journal since kindergarten. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ! And I love the scriptures. I'm so happy to be ME.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have always had a testimony of my Savior Jesus Christ. He is my Brother and Redeemer. He has given me the purest form of love that I have ever felt. I love Him in return with all my heart. Being a member of His church is my Joy, my happiness, my strength and my light. I am a mormon because it is what makes me truly happy. I believe in Jesus Christ, I believe in his Atonement, I believe that he died for me so that I can live, as He lives. I believe and have a firm testimony in the Book of Mormon, the Book of Mormon is truth, it is my personal handbook on how to be happy, how to live, and what to do when life gets hard. This book has all the answers. I believe families can be together forever. I believe all who come unto Christ, will feel His perfect love and find true happiness, direction and peace in their lives. No matter their circumstances. Repentance is real, and it is powerful. No matter what the sin, I know all of us can and will be forgiven. I know this by personal experience. There is nothing more powerful than the feeling of being forgiven by one who loves you more than you can comprehend. I have come to understand Christ WANTS to forgive us all, we are only required to come unto Him, and he will remove all guilt, sorrow, pain and suffering we may feel. It's incredible! I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. "Because men are, that they might have Joy" 2 Nephi 2:25

How I live my faith

I do my best to live my faith in everything I do! When I was down in college, I was a ward missionary. I absolutely loved it! Every week other members in my ward and I would go out in our ward boundaries and find college students who were lost and struggling and invite them to activities in the ward, to church on Sundays, or ask how we could help them. It was incredible to serve them, help them find happiness again, and point them in a direction for their lives. I love being a tool for my Father in Heaven, inviting others to Come Unto Him, or just reminding them that He really is there, and loves every single one us. I love going to church on Sunday's to feel the spirit, I attend a Young Single Adult ward. I love it, I'm new to the ward, I don't know everyone, but I know I am alongside of others who share my beliefs, faith and testimony, everyone is friendly and outgoing, and I'm making a new friend each week. I love talking about the scriptures with my friends, and pondering over them. I love sharing my heart with others. I am not near perfect and I don't expect anyone else to be either, I know we are all learning and growing in our lives day by day, so its important to love and accept everyone as they are! I do my best to live and be like Jesus Christ taught me through His example. :)
