Hi I'm Kay

I am a native to Arizona. I am a wife and mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother. I have been married to my husband for 20 years and am thankful everyday for him in my life. I am so grateful to have my daughter because she is my miracle. I love to read, cross stich and cheer my daughter on during her sports activities. I have worked in the health care profession as secretary / adminstration for the last 18 years. I love to learn how to do new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. I found that I had to pray to my Heavenly Father to find out that the Book of Mormon is true. I also had to pray to find out that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and through revelation he was able to translate the Book of Mormon from the gold plates to the written form in English. I know the Book of Mormon is a second witness of Jesus Christ and the King James version of the Bible is the first witness. I have read both of these scriptures and know that both were written by prophets of God. I know that God lives and Jesus Christ is his son and the Holy Ghost continually testifies of these two facts when we ask for confirmation. I know that Christ took upon himself the sins of the world and anntoned for our sins. He was crucified and then was resurrected after 3 days. I celebrate the resurrection because it makes it possible for every one to live again. I know that we must all strive to do our best in living the commandments. I try to live every day being honest in everything I do. I am glad to be apart of the church because it helps me with my daughter and teaching her the values that I believe in and grew up with. The gospel gives me peace and the knowledge that I am a child of God and I have a loving Heavenly Father who cares about me.

How I live my faith

I have the opportunity to associate with other women in my church every Sunday. I also have had the opportunity to join others like me who love to read and we get together and talk about the books we have read. I go to visit sisters in there home, so we can get to know each other better and make friends with them.
