Hi I'm Kristan

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom to three children. I volunteer at their schools. I build things out of wood, fabric and yarn, separately. I am going to school. I didn't grow up Mormon. (We all have to be converted, whether you grew up with it or not.)

Why I am a Mormon

I became a Mormon when I was eighteen. I grew up in a then rural town full of people who belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I remember going to Girls' Camp when I was twelve and feeling the Spirit of our Father in Heaven testify to me that this church was true, that I was in the right place and that I had chosen the right friends. I read the Book of Mormon and KNEW it is true! I followed Moroni's promise, I prayed, I fasted and I received an answer. I now strive to teach my children the simple and beautiful promise that when we pray, we receive answers. That covenants made and kept at baptism will guarantee that we will live with God again. That Jesus Christ is my Savior, and my friend.

How I live my faith

I have the best calling ever! I get to teach the tiniest members of our congregation in the simplest ways. We are told we learn about the gospel line upon line, this is were we can really see it. I love the simple truths we share each week, and I know that this is the foundation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
