Hi I'm Milissa

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom of a beautiful daughter adorable son, and a wife of the most wonderful man. I am so blessed to be able to stay home to take care of my family and once a week get out of the house to work for fun at my sister's cafe. I love spending time with my family most of all. I have two awesome sisters and a brother. Besides my own children, my niece and nephew have completely stole my heart :) I have a bachelors degree in Business and someday dream of owning and managing large rental properties. I grew up in the business and hope to follow in my families successful footsteps. My number one goal in this life is to go to the temple with my entire family so we can be together for all eternity.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised as a mormon. My father is not a member of the church, but my mother is. With my father's support, my mother always made sure the spirit was present in our home. She would always say "If Christ came knocking out our front door, would you feel worthy of letting him in?" She always made sure we went to church on Sunday and participated in youth activities. Because of her, my testimony lives on today. I am very far from perfect and continue to have everyday personal and spiritual hurdles just like everyone else. Through my life of hurdles, my testimony has never been stronger until this point in my life. I have a very strong testimony of this church. I know this gospel teaches the true word of God. I believe we have a living Prophet on this Earth today to help teach and guide us in these harsh, complicated times. I know with all my heart, that if I walk a righteous path and have faith in our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, I will once again live with him for eternal happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving the youth in our local ward. I love it because I know they probably help me more than I help them. It keeps my heart young and spirits high. They bring such a positive, fresh outlook on life and religion. I honestly believe that my testimony is strengthened more and more every Sunday just being around such wonderful youth and leaders.
