Hi I'm Michael Butler

I have had a health problems throughout my life. I have a strong relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Mike. I am married to my wife of 36 years. We have a son who is now 31. Half of my workng life I spent helping others to better themselves through state assisted programs. Now that I am 56 years old I am dependent on others for help as my health is challenging. I love to go to church each week to sing the hymns and hear the words of our Savior. It really makes my week. With my personal relationship with the Savior, I am always feeling His peace and comfort when going through my trials with my health.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member all of my life. Even so, I feel that one needs to be converted to the gospel. I knelt in prayer asking that I may come to know my Savior. He has since blessed me in every way over the years and I gained that testimony for myself. Since I have been ill, blessings have flowed tremendously. The biggest of all, is the blessing of peace in my heart and soul. We call it the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. As the Savior truly is the head of our Church and I love Him dearly.

How I live my faith

The biggest joy in my life is when I am able to help others. Charity is the pure love of Christ. I pray privately and with my wife daily. It can be simple things like just smiling at others. That can really help someones day. I visit families each month to check up on them to see how they are doing, when I am healthy. I like to always take goodies to the families in December
