Hi I'm Jeff

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work as a radiologic technologist at my local hospital and I'm finishing my degree in sonography or ultrasound. I'm married to my wonderful wife, and we are expecting a little girl in the spring. I'm so excited to be a dad. I love working out, lifting weights, playing soccer and other sports and playing the piano. I served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints in Croatia. I love the people there.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the LDS church but that doesn't mean I always had a strong testimony of it. I came to love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ through sincere prayer and scripture study when I was in high school. It's so awesome that through the Spirit, we can truly gain a witness that God lives and loves us. We just have to put the effort into searching and asking. I am a Mormon because I know Jesus Christ lives. I know that He suffered and bore my sins and griefs. I know that He died for me and was resurrected again. I know that He restored His true church through a prophet. Because of that knowledge, I have peace knowing that we will live with him again and can live eternally with our families if we are faithful to Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ. I try and live the teachings he taught that we learn in our Church. Even though it's sometimes hard, I want to be a good example of how the Savior would be if he were here on the earth right now.

What are Mormon Temples used for?

There is a lot of speculation about Mormon temples. A lot of people think that is where Mormons practice secret rituals and stuff. The temple though is literally the house of God on the earth. We perform sacred, not secret, ordinances in the temple. Those ordinances are given to us by Heavenly Father to help us return and live with Him after this life. In the temple, we learn more about our life with Heavenly Father before we came to earth and also more about what we need to do to become like Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Everyone is invited to come to the temple. There are certain standards and conditions that need to be met before someone can enter into the temple but we don't restrict anyone if they are worthy. The first step is baptism into Christ's church. Show more Show less
